Returns & Refunds Policy
At Aevum Planners, we want you to feel organised and inspired. If your purchase isn’t quite right, we are here to help. Our policy is designed to be fair and fully compliant with UK consumer law.
1. Your Right to Cancel (The "Cooling-Off" Period)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you buy online or by phone, you have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your order for any reason.
The Timeframe: You must notify us of your intent to cancel within 14 days of receiving your planner.
The Return Window: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.
Condition of Item: You may inspect the planner as you would in a shop (e.g., opening the box, checking the layout). However, we reserve the right to reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by "excessive handling" (e.g., writing in the planner, removing tabs, or damaging the cover).
2. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, your planners must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
The 30-Day "Short-Term Right to Reject": If your planner arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault within 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund.
After 30 Days: If a fault appears after the first 30 days but within 6 months, we will offer a repair or replacement. If we cannot fix or replace it, you may then be entitled to a full or partial refund.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to:
Personalised Items: Any planners that have been custom-made or personalised (e.g., your name embossed on the cover) cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
Digital Downloads: If you purchase digital planning inserts and begin the download, you waive your 14-day right to cancel.
4. How to Return Your Item
To start a return, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Email us at aevumplanners@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
Packaging: Please return the item in its original packaging to ensure it stays protected during transit.
Postage: Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot issue a refund until the item is received.
5. Refunds
Amount: We will refund the full price of the item plus the cost of our standard delivery (if you chose a premium/express delivery option, we only refund the standard rate).
Timeline: Your refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the item back (or receiving proof that you have sent it).
Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.
